Dating to circa 1986, this vintage Seiko captures one of the most charming sides of 1980s watch design — when petite women’s watches became increasingly decorative, delicate and almost indistinguishable from jewellery.

At the centre sits a tiny round ivory dial with minimalist dot markers and slim gold-tone hands. Framing the case are two sculptural petal-shaped lugs, each finished with a deep pink-red stone that adds a subtle jewel-like detail.

The bracelet is just as distinctive.

Instead of a traditional watch strap, Seiko paired the petite case with a twisted gold-tone rope bracelet, giving the entire piece the appearance of a vintage gold bracelet with a watch delicately hidden within it.

Its proportions are small, feminine and understated — made for someone who wants their watch to feel more like an accessory than a statement timepiece.
